We, Holiday La Palma, act solely as an intermediary between the party renting and the landlord and can only accept responsibility for the mediation. If there is an issue relating to the accommodation which cannot be immediately resolved with the landlord, then we request that we are informed in order to assist with the mediation. In all instances, the landlord must be given an initial opportunity to redress the situation in a timely manner. Only when this has happened will any refunds be considered.
In the unfortunate event of cancellation, you can be assured we will do our absolute utmost to re-let the accommodation. If we can re-let the accommodation, we will refund you appropriately retaining a 50€ administration fee per booking. However, if this has not been possible, these are the charges with regard to a cancellation: –
1. More than 45 days - 100% returned less 50€ handling fee per booking
2. Between 15 and 45 days - 50% of deposit returned less 50€ handling fee per booking
3. Less than 15 days - no refund
* This scale of charges does not apply to long lets - please ask for our cancellation policy for long lets.
** If the cancellation is due entirely to reasons related to Covid, a full refund is usually given.
If you leave the accommodation earlier than was booked and for your own reasons, then sorry we cannot give a refund.
We urge you to take out holiday travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.
