Country hotel on the outskirts of Barlovento, north east La Palma
Hotel Barlovento is a family run hotel with charm and character that stands in its own grounds 1km from the small town of Barlovento and with excellent views of both the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding woodland.
The hotel has 40 bedrooms (double, twin and single) all with private bathrooom and have either a wooden balcony or terrace.
The room facilities include heating, telephone, flat screen TV with Satellite, mini-bar, hair dryer and safe (small charge).
Every morning there is an excellent buffet breakfast and in the evening, the in-house restaurant offers both a la carte dinners and menu of the day. Drinks are available at the well-stocked bar - don't forget to try the local rum!
The hotel provides two swimming pools, one open air and the other indoor which is heated to 26 degrees. Also available is a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gymnasium fitness area and massage service. And even more ... open-air tennis court, table tennis and surrounded by wonderful walks!
In the communal lounge area there are two internet terminals, WiFi and for winter evenings, a log fire.
The helpful reception staff speak Spanish, English and German.
