ideal for those that like to be in a country setting and yet within easy walking distance to amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, local cafe/bars and the regular bus service.
Nearby is the popular Puntagorda weekend market along with walking routes including the GR130 Camino Real and Las Tricias Buracas caves. It's also one of the best places to access the Roque de Muchachos!

From here, one can enjoy the original features such as
polished wooden floor, the 'cuatro aguas' ceiling of wood and wooden window
shutters. These are all made from 'tea wood' which is the heart of Canarian pine from the pine forests nearby.
Equally inviting are the twin doors which open out onto the patio.
The bathroom comprises a 4-piece suit with a shower over the bath.
As the bath has a place to sit at the end, this can very effectively help those with mobility difficulties.
Other facilities provided are a washing machine and a hair dryer plus all bath towels.
La Palma is about the outside life too.
At Casa Herenio there are sun loungers, patio table and chairs provided in addition to a portable BBQ.
And of course La Palma is famous for its starry, starry nights.
